Pumpkin for the dog: shopping list for 10 pumpkin muffins

200 g pureed Hokkaido pumpkin

1 egg

100 g spelt flour or buckwheat flour

20 g butter (soft)

1 teaspoon baking soda

3 tablespoons of water

This is how the pumpkin muffins for dogs are made:

With our organic Hokkaido pumpkin you save yourself the hassle of washing and deseeding a pumpkin, instead you can start with the recipe straight after thawing .

Let's get started: Put the spelt flour or buckwheat flour (gluten-free) and baking soda in a bowl. Then take a second bowl and mix the butter, water and egg with the whisk. Now take the pumpkin mixture and mix it into the contents of your second, buttery bowl.

Almost done: Grab the flour mixture and stir it into the previous ingredients.

Now you can fill the batter into the muffin tins. To do this, it's best to use two spoons to distribute the batter evenly into each tin. It's important not to fill the muffin tins completely, but only halfway. The muffins will rise during baking.

Into the oven: Set the oven to 180 °C ( top and bottom heat) and bake your muffins for about 17 minutes.

After baking, the pumpkin muffins for your dog should be allowed to cool down. Then you can feed them to your dog - your dog will love them!
