Algae lime from haustierkost.de is used to compensate for the phosphorus surplus in meat feeding and is obtained from seaweed from sea water.
The iodine content here is 2 mg/kg

Feeding & Storage
To neutralize the excess phosphorus in fresh meat, the following are required:
for 500 g beef without fat - 2 level measuring spoons of algae lime
for 500 g beef head meat - 1 ½ measuring spoons of algae lime
for 500 g beef heart approx. 2 level measuring spoons of algae lime
for 500 g beef tripe approx. 1/3 measuring spoon of algae lime
for 500 g horse meat approx. 1 ½ measuring spoons of algae lime
for 500 g turkey meat- 2 level measuring spoons of seaweed lime
1 measuring spoon corresponds to approx. 1 g, 1 teaspoon corresponds to approx. 5 g
Please note that this information is only intended to neutralize the excess phosphorus in raw meat. When calculating the animal's total calcium requirement, you must include the phosphorus content of all feed ingredients.
We recommend a calcium-phosphorus ratio of approximately 1.3 to 1.
