The animal component of BARFing
Starting with the animal component, the main ingredient in every BARF meal is muscle meat. Muscle meat covers around 50% of the animal portion. It provides important proteins and fats and is essential for the energy supply and muscle building of your four-legged friend. Another important ingredient in BARFing is raw tripe, as it is particularly rich in nutrients.
