Choose betweenraw beef for ferrets, raw poultry, horse, lamb, fish, rabbitorgame meatAlternatively, please refer to ourBARF bestsellers for ferrets, if you are just starting to feed your ferret raw food and get inspiration from the favorites of other owners. When feeding ferrets raw food, we also recommend ourday-old chicks and feeder miceThese are, after all, the classic prey animals for a ferret. Discover our variety of BARF meat in organic quality if you feed your ferret BARF.
In order to meet your ferret's needs, you need a daily amount of 100 to 200 grams of meat, which you should divide into at least four individual meals due to the ferret's short digestive process and sprinkle with algae lime regularly. For a balanced diet, we recommend changing meals every day - for example in the form of whole food animals, whole pieces of meat and pureed or minced food. In addition, you need somedietary supplements, if you feed your ferret raw food: Like cats, these small predators also depend on the supplementary feeding of taurine, because this is important for a healthy metabolism, but cannot be produced independently. You can get taurine either asfeed supplementor in this context, opt for foods rich in taurine such as chicken hearts. Apart from that, make sure that you get enough vitamin B. This is found in offal such as heart, liver and kidney. Finally, you should give your ferret a teaspoon of oil once a week - whether you choose salmon oil, coconut oil or cod liver oil is entirely up to you.
