This is because only the required amount needs to be taken out and thawed, while the remaining tripe balls remain frozen in the resealable bag. The beef breastbone bones are ideal for the necessary calcium supplement - for most dogs they are already cut into suitable pieces and offer delicious chewing fun and dental care.
