Lamb tripe is not very flattering for our human noses, but it is an outstanding delicacy for all healthy four-legged friends and is suitable for many dogs and cats who are prone to food allergies. Tripe contains probiotic cultures from pre-digested plant remains. Tripe has a lower protein content than muscle meat and is therefore particularly suitable for older animals. The high fat content makes it suitable for feeding young animals during growth and for underweight animals.
