If you want to BARF your puppy, there are a few things to bear in mind. Puppies are young dogs and, like seniors, require special attention. Generally speaking, you should only BARF your puppy as soon as it can eat solid food. After that, you can start BARFing for an adult dog. First, get your puppy used to one or two types of meat. This will allow its immune system and digestion to adjust. Along with the BARF meat, give your puppy offal , fruit and vegetables, as well as supplements such as vitamins, oils and minerals . Minerals such as calcium are particularly important when you BARF your puppy, as young animals are still growing. You can add around 15 grams per kilogram of beef, or six grams for poultry and fish.

Make sure to feed a higher amount of food based on the puppy's weight and to divide it up into four to five meals a day. By feeding around six percent of the puppy's body weight, you are supporting the growth of the young animal while BARFing your puppy. That is why it is very important to weigh the dog and the food regularly. Before BARFing your puppy, speak to a vet who can give you additional individual advice. Then you can order BARF without hesitation.
